Warzone Bloom – Nel coro delle ultime ore i devs di Sledgehammer Games hanno deciso di introdurre una nuova importante tornata di bilanciamenti probabilmente ancor più importante della patch che abbiamo visto proprio nel corso della giornata di ieri.
Dopo qualche settimana di trepidante attesa, gli sviluppatori hanno infatti deciso di ascoltare i feedback della community optando per la rimozione del weapon bloom, una nuova meccanica che non è affatto piaciuta ai giocatori e che si appresta quindi a scomparire anche da Caldera.
Per chi non sapesse di cosa stiamo parlando, il weapon bloom è una feature introdotta su Call of Duty con Vanguard, per la quale non tutti i colpi da noi sparati riescono ad andare a bersaglio: con il weapon bloom infatti, alcuni di questi proiettili seguono una traiettoria unica e del tutto “casuale”.
Non ci meraviglia quindi che questa feature sia stata prontamente rimossa, dato che Warzone è certamente un tipo di gioco che non ha bisogno di ulteriori fattori casuali che vadano ad incidere sulla partita.
Insieme a questa modifica vi è poi anche spazio per diversi interventi di bilanciamento, e tra questi notiamo dei lievi nerf all’NZ-41, allo Swiss, alla PPSH ed alla STEN, mentre la Type 100 e l’Owen registrano dei significativi aumenti alla loro performance.
Segnaliamo infine anche i numerosi interventi all’MG42, la mitragliatrice “lavatrice” di cui abbiamo parlato proprio ieri, e che da questo bilanciamento dovrebbe guadagnare moltissimo in termini di stabilità.
Ecco tutti i dettagli:
- Reduced the volume of aerial gameplay elements such as Fighter Planes, Bombing Runs, and Airstrike Killstreaks.
- Fighter Planes are no longer able to auto-target parachuting Players.
- Fixed an issue where Vanguard Operators Levels would begin at 0 instead of 1.
- Fixed an issue causing Players to be kicked for inactivity while using the static Anti-Aircraft Gun.
- Fixed an issue causing Players bought back by teammates to return without access to Weapons or their fists.

General
- The M1928 (VG), also known as Submachine Gun Alpha (VG), has been changed to M1912 (VG)
Weapon Adjustments
With this update, we have drastically reduced the amount of ‘Bloom’ on all base Vanguard Weapons. In the future, we will be removing Bloom from Vanguard Weapons entirely. This process will take time, as we will need to determine adequate downsides to counterbalance the removal of Bloom, which will vary based on each individual Weapon and the type of Attachment they are attributed to.
In addition, we are in the process of assessing Weapon ADS Speeds across Warzone. Stay tuned for more information.
